Science Fiction and Film Fanatics In-Person

Are you a science fiction enthusiast aged 18 or older? Join the Geneva Public Library's Sci-Fi Book and Movie Club! Each month, we explore thought-provoking themes through the lens of both film and literature. Our meetings will feature a movie screening one month and a book discussion the next. Participants can choose from a curated list of related books to dive deeper into the topic.

Our first theme is "Survival and Humanity's Struggle against the Unknown." We watched a gripping film that delved into these fascinating scenarios last month. Join us this month to discuss your chosen book from the following list: “The Passage" by Justin Cronin, “Project Hail Mary" by Andy Weir, “The Dog Stars" by Peter Heller, or “The Girl with All the Gifts" by M.R.
