Science Fiction and Film Fanatics

Science Fiction and Film Fanatics In-Person

Are you a science fiction enthusiast aged 18 or older? Join the Geneva Public Library's Sci-Fi Book and Movie Club! Each month, we explore thought-provoking themes through the lens of both film and literature. Our meetings will feature a movie screening one month and a book discussion the next. Participants can choose from a curated list of related books to dive deeper into the topic.

Our first theme is "Survival and Humanity's Struggle against the Unknown." We watched a gripping film that delved into these fascinating scenarios last month. Join us this month to discuss your chosen book from the following list: “The Passage" by Justin Cronin, “Project Hail Mary" by Andy Weir, “The Dog Stars" by Peter Heller, or “The Girl with All the Gifts" by M.R. Carey. Engage in lively discussions, meet fellow sci-fi fans, and expand your horizons.
