Literacy Volunteers' Office Hours

Literacy Volunteers' Office Hours In-Person

Literacy Volunteers' of Ontario-Yates provides tutoring services to adults who want to improve their literacy. This includes: understanding, speaking, reading, and writing English; pursuing a high school equivalency diploma; preparing for the US Citizenship Exam; refreshing literacy skills for trade certifications, the military entrance exam (ASVAB), or to advance in their jobs.

Since March 2022, The Geneva Public Library has been proud to offer study spaces for LVOY tutoring: https://gplny.org/literacy-volunteers-at-geneva-public-library/

The LVOY Program Coordinator is regularly available, in the Library's 2nd Floor Study Room, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to answer any questions about getting help with tutoring or provide information about becoming a Literacy Volunteer tutor.
